Under Grain & Grain Street receive their official MICHELIN plaques for 2022
A few months ago, our Grain restaurants were awarded respective MICHELIN awards and the official plaques have now been presented and join the coveted accolades we have received over the years.
Under Grain was awarded a One MICHELIN Star for the third year running in the MICHELIN Guide Malta 2022, while our fashionable and convivial restaurant offering a unique sharing concept, Grain Street clinched a Bib Gourmand just three months after opening its doors.
Hon. Clayton Bartolo, the Minister for Tourism in Malta and Dr Gavin Gulia, Chairman of the Malta Tourism Authority proudly commemorated the awards, officially, on Wednesday 20th April 2022, presenting our Grain restaurants with two MICHELIN plaques. Under Grain’s MICHELIN Star and Grain Street’s Bib Gourmand were graciously received by Director of Hospitality & Care – Claire Zammit Xuereb, Executive Chef Victor Borg, Restaurant Manager Thomas Mifsud Bonnici and Rosselli AX Privilege Operations Manager Moul Hajjar.
Despite hardships that the pandemic brought over the past two years, the team rose to the occasion and strived to be the best they could be even in abnormal circumstances. Now that restrictions have eased, the service teams at both Under Grain and Grain Street are fully prepared for another busy summer period to bring patrons the highest quality and standards that they are so well known for.
